legend has it that if someone dies in the grip of a terrible rage a curses born. Well I'm always in a group of a terrible rage so if I die at any time we're all screwed. whoops. when i first saw this movie, i liked the idea, but not the execution, so i chalked it up to this being a bad movie. then i went to bed and had nightmares about it all night. after I woke up, i decided that maybe i needed to check out the original movie, since this was a trmake, so i bought the original and watched it and loved it. it was everything this movie tried to be and failed. now of course, i like both movies and appreciate what each brings to the 5able. this is a spooky good time with two of my favorite actresses, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Clea Duvall. i appreciate this take on the haunted house myth. i watched both Ju-On 2 and The Grudge 2, and i actually like The Grudge 2 better.
