When I first saw this movie back in 2002 when it first came out, it marked a lot of first for me. It was the first time I ever saw a horror movie in the theaters, it was the first time I ever saw something crawl out of the TV and a horror movie and I had nightmares about that happening since I was a kid so it was a trip seeing it happen on the big screen in front of me, and it was the first time I was so scared that I cried during a horror movie. So this movie made a big impact on me because of all those things and I definitely loved it then and I still love it now. it doesn't have the impact on me that it once did, of course, and i don't get scared of it anymore. it still impresses me with its dark, heavy atmosphere though, and i still get creeped out by the cursed video that causes all the problems in this movie. creepy ass ghosts and their videography skills.
