I remember seeing ads for this movie when I was a kid. It came out a few years before I was born, when Jaws had ushered in a slew of "nature attacks" animal horror movies. The ads for this one play up the gore (watch a girl get her arm ripped off by a grizzly!) but there's not much gore here. It actually almost resembles a pretty nature documentary until tu he grizzly pops out and eats people. I enjoyed seeing this movie the first time I watched it, but I didn't realize how much of this movie is mock worthy until I watched the rifftrax version. Snarky fun to be had by all.
