Everyone told me that this movie was horrible, but I'd wanted to see it since it came out. I was eight in 1989, and it looked like the best movie ever made, to me. Well, I watched it, and it was NOT the best movie ever made (though maybe if I were eight, it would have been) but I did enjoy it. It's gory and nasty and fun. The little puppets are creepy, and the special effects that create them aren't as cringe-inducing as you'd think.
