It's very rare that a sequel is as good as the original movie. With this movie, I was hesitant to watch the sequel because I loved the original so much and I didn't want to see the sequel and have it suck and have that taint my view of the original so I waited for a long time before I finally watched the sequel and when I finally sat down and gave it a chance I was blown away by how well it was done. It was creepy, it was gory, it managed to improve upon the original which was hard to do because the original was a slam bang hit, and it did what sequels are supposed to do which is made all of the action bigger and louder and throwing in more characters without making it too Loud and obnoxious. Now of course, I loved it so much the first time I saw that there's no way that I would love it as much the second time I saw it it had to lose some of its luster and shine but it's still a great movie and it's still functions really well as a creepy and bloody and nasty little w**** romp. So it's well worth checking out especially if you are a fan of the original movie.
