October Horror Challenge 2019 #31: "Puma Man"
Man, Amazon manages to dig up some weird ass horror/sci-fi movies to show in October. Not that I'm complaining, since I love me some silly horror movies. This one is about a man who is cursed with the blood of a puma running through his veins, and he has the animal's powers too, and he passes them onto his son, who learns in his 20s that he's a puma man (that sounds so stupid) and he's worshiped by some otherworldly race or something, and they want him to use his powers to do good on earth, and his first act is to save earth from an evil mad scientist played by Donald Pleasance.
Dude, Donald Pleasance was in some horrible little movies. And like...what even are a Puma's powers anyway? Supposedly he can sense danger, but he keeps getting ambushed by bad guys, so he's not very good at it, and at one point he "plays dead" for like 20 minutes, so the bad guys think he's dead, but it seems like that mostly works because they're idiots, so I don'tknow. So yeah, in case you couldn't tell, this movie isn't good, but it was fun to watch and mock, so I had fun with it. A normal person probably wouldn't enjoy the experience though, so you know, take care. Don't just go watching this movie all willy-nilly and then blaming me when it sucks, because I definitely warned against this movie's suckiness.
