Maybe it's the migraine talking, but this movie seemed better than the first one to me. The kills were creepier, the characters were more annoying so it was more fun watching them die, and that creepy ass ending would have been the height of film genius if I were ten years old, but wasn't half bad at thirty, either. Of course I got visions of "Darkman" dancing in my head throughout the movie with Toulon and his bandaged face (was it supposed to be a twist ending when the bandaged man was revealed to be him? I had it figured out before it happened...again, maybe if I were ten...) but that didn't ruin the fun of the movie for me.
